To find out more about the Virtual Space Interaction Testbed, please contact the project staff at si-visit at umich dot edu. There are several ways for interested University of Michigan students to get involved with the program, including independent study or course projects, the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) and through hourly employment. Students that are interested in working on visit should contact the project director at the email address above outlining prior education and experience.

We can also arrange tours of the VISIT lab and demonstrations of many of the systems. Please contact us if you are would like to arrange this kind of visit and let us know which technologies you are particularly interested in.

Below are directions to SI North (1075 Beal Avenue) from Livonia:

1. Take M-14 west towards Ann Arbor
2. Take US-23 south to Geddes Rd, exit 39.
3. Take Geddes Rd west 1.25 miles to the traffic light
at Huron Parkway.
4. Continue straight through the light onto Fuller Rd
with Huron High School on your right for just over
1 mile to the traffic light at the intersection with
Glazier Way.
5. Continue straight through the light onto Glazier Way
one short block, going past Beal Ave on your right,
and then turn right at the first driveway past Beal
Ave into a parking lot where there is a section with
metered parking.
6. The SI-North Bldg is at the northwest corner of this
lot, a brick three-story building. Enter the door
on the north side of the building.
